Hunter Adrian is honored to be chosen as the Massachusetts recipient of the Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award. Hunter is from Melrose and wrestled for Melrose High School under Coaches Nick Gamble and Larry Tremblay. Hunter finished his high school career 215-6, a 4x D3 North Sectional Champion, 4x D3 State Champion, 4x All State Champion, 3x New England Champion, 2x NHSCA All American, and ranked 10th in the country at 120 pounds by USA wrestling Magazine. Hunter was also a 4x Boston Globe All Scholastic, 4x Boston Herald All Scholastic, and a member of the Massachusetts and New England Halls of Fame. As a student athlete at Melrose High School, Hunter was a member of the National Honor Society, an AP Scholar, a 4 year high honors student, and had a 4.0 GPA. He also volunteered as a tutor and wrestling coach. Hunter will be continuing his academic and wrestling career at Brown University.
