Bill Venable
Bill Venable coached for 26 years with stints at Walker High School, Shamrock High School and Tucker High School in DeKalb County, Georgia.
He has been honored with the William S. Venable Sr. DeKalb County Championship and the William S. Venable Sr. Gymnasium.
Venable coached multiple county, area and state champions as well as multiple athletes who went on to receive college scholarships.
A physical education and special education teacher, he also was an assistant football coach and track coach.
A father to four, Coach Venable was a mentor to many.
