Larry O`Neil

Larry joins an elite group from the Milwaukee area so instrumental in developing wrestling programs there. After wrestling for two years at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, and 2 years at the U.W., he helped to start the program at Madison West. He was out of coaching for a while, running clinics and refereeing wrestling, then came back to start still another program at St. John's Cathedral in 1962. He stayed on there until 1964. Larry then coached five years at University of Wisconsin - Madison from 1966-70, and then assistant coached at Marquette University. He was active with the State AAU programs and also busy officiating. Larry's influence was vitally needed in the early years.
