Starred on the mats as a four-year starter for the NAIA Mountaineers, serving as team captain as a junior and senior
54 years as a wrestling coach; believed to be the longest serving wrestling coach in Georgia history
1 year (1966-67) as a graduate assistant coach at App State
5 years (1967-72) - head coach at Chamblee High School
12 years (1972-84) - head coach at Dunwoody High School
7 years (1984-91) - head coach at the Marist School
11 years (1991-2002) - head coach at Stone Mountain High School
Retired from teaching in May of 2002 but continued service as a wrestling coach at several schools
2 years (2002-04) - head coach at St Pius X High School
