While attending P.J. Jacobs High School in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, Henry participated in cross-country and wrestling. In 1949, he wont he 95 lb. state championship in wrestling and was runner-up in the 105 lb. class the following year. Hank has qualified for the Olympic trials in 1960 in freestyle, 1964 in Greco-Roman, and 1972 in Greco-Roman. He qualified for the final Pan-American trials in 1962 in freestyle and the World Training Camp in 1969 and 1972 in Grec0-Roman. He won the Minnesota Greco-Roman championship in 1964 and was runner-up in 1965 and 1966. In 1975, Hank won both the freestyle and Greco-Roman championships at 153 and was awarded the trophy for Outstanding Sportsmanship. He won the Wisconsin Greco-Roman championship at 149.5 in 1975 and was runner-up in the USWF Open Freestyle at 163 in 1976. Hank coached the National AAU Olympic 200 and the Elite World Team in the world Greco-Roman championships for two years. The Elite groups won the World Championship in 178 and 1979, winning the first world championships in Greco-Roman wrestling for the U.S. These teams also participated in the National Sports Festivals held in Colorado Springs in 1978 and 1979. In 1961-62, Hank was elected in area representatives for the WIAA. He also served 2 terms on the Rules Committee for the WIAA. He served as secretary, vice-president and president of the Wisconsin Wrestling Federation- U.S.W.F. Yetter began coaching at Amery in 1960 as an assistant football coach, head wrestling and head track coach. His teams in wrestling have earned a 187 - 63 - 2 record in his nineteen years of coaching. They have won 15 regional and 4 sectionals. In 1968, Amery placed 4th in the Wisconsin State Wrestling Tournament. He has had 3 state champions, 3 2nd place winners, 3 3rd place winners and 6 other place winners. Hank was elected to the Hall of Fame at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1979
