Doug has covered 23 NCAA National Wrestling Championships, 15 EIWA Tournaments and 10 Eastern Wrestling Tournaments. He has written numerous articles for the Amateur Wrestling News as well as the NCAA Wrestling Championship Programs. In 1964, and 1987, he received the National Wrestling Writer of the Year for his outstanding coverage of wrestling.
