Robert De Haven

Robert “Bob” De Haven wrestled for Rutgers University and the University of Pittsburgh. 

He coached youth and high school wrestling in Virginia and Georgia for over 25 years. 

Serving as treasurer of the National Wrestling Coaches association from 1999 to 2013, De Haven helped increase the NWCA’s annual revenue from $150,000 to $1.5 million. He also played a major role in the development of the NWCA strategic plan which helped increase membership from 1,500 to over 10,000 and created services that now directly benefit over 220,000 student-wrestlers annually. 

De Haven founded, built, and sold three successful businesses. 

He and his wife, Mallika, are retired and live in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
