Rob Hermann
Coach / Contributor Robert Hermann, for more then 25 years has been involved with wrestling. He is a USA Wrestling Certified Bronze Level Greco-Roman Coach. Rob served as the head coach of the 1996 U.S. Olympic team, which won three silver medals. He has been head coach and assistant coach for numerous USA Wrestling teams including the World Championships and Pan American Games. Coach Hermann has been the head coach of the U.S. Navy team, where he has developed a number of nationally ranked athletes. In 1998, USA Wrestling announced the creation of the South Region National Training Center in New Orleans. The project was designed to provide a world-class training site for potential World and Olympic-class wrestlers. Coach Hermann was one of the program's directors due to his strong background in coaching both freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling.
