The National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum is excited to announce that it will host “An Evening with Dan Gable” at 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 16 at the Atlanta National Pickleball Club in Alpharetta, Georgia.
The event is sponsored by the Wrestlers in Business Network Atlanta Chapter and all proceeds will benefit the Dan Gable Museum and its mission to preserve wrestling history, recognize extraordinary achievement and inspire greatness.

SAMOKOV, Bulgaria – Team USA’s strong performance in men’s freestyle continued on Tuesdayas Marcus Blaze and Max McEnelly won men's freestyle semifinal matches to lock up no worse than eight medals at the U20 World Championships.

High School Sports Participation Hits Record High in 2024-25
The National Federation of State High School Associations announced that girls wrestling topped 74,000 participants for the first time, jumping 15 percent from a year ago and adding nearly 1,000 schools with a girls wrestling program, and that boys wrestling participation is also enjoying a rebound in numbers, recording an increase of 8,340 to top 300,000 for the first time.

Duke, Rademacher Win Gold at U20 World Championships
SAMOKOV, Bulgaria – P.J. Duke and Justin Rademacher each won gold and Cole Mirasola won bronze for the United States in men's freestyle at the U20 World Championships. The U.S. leads the team race with 75 points followed by Kazakhstan with 63 points and Azerbaijan with 38 points.

Distinguished Member Greg Wojciechowski Passes Away
The National Wrestling Hall of Fame was saddened to learn that Greg Wojciechowski, a Distinguished Member inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2025, passed away on Tuesday, at the age of 74. He is also a member of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum’s George Tragos and Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and he received the Lifetime Service to Wrestling award from the Ohio Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2013.

Order of Merit Recipient Al Bevilacqua Passes Away
The National Wrestling Hall of Fame was saddened to learn that Al Bevilacqua, who received the Order of Merit award from the Hall of Fame in 2012 and the Lifetime Service to Wrestling award from the Downstate New York Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in 1996, passed away on Sunday, at the age of 85.
