Nathan Moore was a two-time state champion and four-year letterwinner with a career record of 189-13 at Perry Meridian High School.

He finished second in freestyle and third in Greco-Roman at Cadet Nationals as a freshman and fifth at Junior Nationals in Greco-Roman as a sophomore. Moore was 51-1 and won the Indiana high school wrestling championship as a junior while finishing fifth in freestyle at Junior Nationals. He finished 57-0 and won the Indiana high school championship and freestyle at Junior Nationals.
