Steven Forrest was a three-time Vermont state wrestling champion and four-time state finalist who helped powerhouse Mount Anthony Union High School win four straight state team titles.

He was also a two-time New England regional champion and had a career record of 192-23, which was more wins than any other Vermont wrestler at the time.

Forrest was Junior Nationals champion in both freestyle and Greco-Roman in 1999.
