Joe Williams

Joe Williams graduated from Calvary Chapel High School in Santa Ana, California, as an Honor Roll student with a 4.06 GPA. He received the Presidential Academic Achievement Award. He is a two time California State Champion with a career record of 170-9, and 101 of those victories were by falls. Twice he was named to Who's Who in Sports. He is a Cadet Greco National Champion and placed 3rd in Cadet Freestyle. Twice he won the Reno TOC Championship and was a finalist a third year. He was named Outstanding Wrestler after twice winning the Five Counties Championship. He was also named Outstanding Wrestler twice at the CIF Championships. After twice winning the Clovis Welt Shootout, he was named the Outstanding Wrestler. Joe coaches 7-14 year olds in the Team Thunder Wrestling Program. He also stepped in as the head Greco-Roman coach when the former coach left unexpectedly. He will attend Michigan State University on a wrestling scholarship next year.
