The NWHOF / Florida Chapter welcomed National Director Lee Roy Smith and his wife Lisa to the 2019 Honors weekend held at the Wyndham Resort @Disney Springs.  Their participation during the weekend activities was appreciated by board members, alumni, inductees and guests.  Our organization believes strongly that we are the premier state chapter when it comes to honoring our newest class and promoting the sport of wrestling.  The fun began on Friday evening with the 20th Anniversary Alumni gathering followed by the Class of 2019 meet and greet.  Saturday morning's testimonial brunch allowed family and friends to share special thoughts about each inductee.  This year's John and Helen Vaughn Award (for profound contribution to the sport of amateur wrestling in Florida) recipient is Kristy Jeffrey.  She is recognized as a ground breaker for girls in Florida Wrestling.
