This engaging and visually stunning 10x10-foot exhibit highlights the historic milestones and groundbreaking achievements that have shaped women’s wrestling. Updated to include the record-setting performances at the 2024 Paris Olympics and the NCAA’s official sanctioning of women’s wrestling, the display celebrates the trailblazers who have helped grow the sport on the national and international stage.
"We are excited to again share the history and impact of women’s wrestling with one of our sport’s largest and most enthusiastic fan bases," said Lee Roy Smith, Executive Director of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. "This display celebrates the profound and positive impact that women’s wrestling has had on our sport, both in our country and worldwide."
The exhibit has already made stops at the 2025 Iowa Girls State Wrestling Championships and, for the second straight year, the National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championships. It was also featured at the 2024 NCAA DI Men’s Wrestling Championships in Kansas City.
For those who can’t make it to PHAN-X, the National Wrestling Hall of Fame’s museum in Stillwater, Oklahoma, proudly houses a permanent "Women In Wrestling" exhibit. This dynamic display pays tribute to the resilience, determination, and achievements of female wrestlers through memorabilia, historic imagery, and an interactive digital kiosk that chronicles pivotal moments in the sport’s history.
