LIMA, Peru – Team USA concluded the 2026 U23 Pan American Championships on Saturday with six champions and eight total medalists in Greco-Roman. 87 kg champion Keenan Wyatt was awarded the Golden Boot as outstanding wrestler of the day.
Wyatt earned a 4-0 win over Oscar Aguilar Godos of Mexico in the gold medal match, avenging an earlier criteria loss to Aguilar Godos in pool play. Wyatt had a technical fall and a pin in the preliminary rounds to punctuate his efforts at La Videna Velodrome.
2022 U20 World Team member Adrian Artsisheuskiy repeated as 82 kg champion with three technical falls, followed by a 6-2 win over four-time age-group Pan American medalist Heder Saldana Bernardino of Mexico in the finals.
Two-time U20 World medalist and four-time age-group World Team member Aden Attao posted three-straight 8-0 technical falls in a four-man round-robin at 130 kg, needing just over three minutes of mat time to finish with his fourth Pan American gold medal.
One of the top wins of the day came from 63 kg champion Pierson Manville, who defeated current Senior Pan American silver medalist Clisman Carracedo Veliz of Ecuador by 4-2 decision in the gold medal final. The win gave Manville his fourth age-group Pan American title.
Also earning gold medals for Team USA were 2025 U23 World Team member Kenneth Crosby at 55 kg and two-time U20 World Team member Soren Herzog at 97 kg. Silver medals went to 2025 Senior World Team member Max Black at 60 kg and first-timer Dominic Way at 72 kg.
The U.S. Greco-Roman group tallied up a 28-5 combined record with one pin and 17 technical falls.
Team USA cruised to the team title with 208 points. Mexico finished in second place with 134 points. Colombia wound up in third place with 121 points.
