Powerful 30-Person U.S. Roster Set for 2026 Senior Pan American Championships in Coralville, Iowa

Team USA’s 30-person side is set for the 2026 Senior Pan American Championships in Coralville, Iowa. The continental championship runs May 7-10 at Xtream Arena.

Two-time Olympian Kayla Miracle (65 kg) will represent the women’s freestyle side in Iowa, and 2024 Olympian Kamal Bey (82 kg) is featured on the Greco-Roman roster.

Miracle, who is also a two-time World medalist, is joined by fellow two-time World medalist Kylie Welker (76 kg) on the women’s freestyle roster.

The men’s freestyle squad is highlighted by four reigning World medalists, including 2025 World champions Zahid Valencia (86 kg) and Trent Hidlay (92 kg). World silver medalist Levi Haines will compete at 79 kg and World bronze medalist Real Woods is set to compete at 65 kg.

Five additional members from the 2025 Senior World Team will grace the mats in Iowa. Wyatt Hendrickson (125 kg) in men’s freestyle, Cristelle Rodriguez (53 kg) and Adaugo Nwachukwu (62 kg) in women’s freestyle, along with Beka Melelashvili (87 kg) and Cohlton Schultz (130kg) in Greco-Roman.

Past Senior World Team members Max Nowry (55 kg), Dalton Roberts (60 kg) and Benji Peak (72 kg) will also be in action for the Greco-Roman squad. 2022 Senior World Team member Abigail Nette (59 kg) will join the women’s freestyle roster in Iowa.

Nineteen of Team USA’s 30 participants at the Senior Pan American Championships next week are coming off U.S. Open titles this past weekend. In men’s and women’s freestyle, Hendrickson, Rodriguez, Nette, Nwachukwu, Miracle, Ridge Lovett (70 kg), Stephen Buchanan (97 kg), Katie Gomez (50 kg), Everest Leydecker (55 kg) and Amanda Martinez (57 kg) all earned spots at 2026 Final X, presented by Kerberos Capital Management. In Greco-Roman, Nowry, Roberts, Peak, Bey, Melelashvili, Schultz, Otto Black (67 kg), Joel Adams (77 kg) and Timothy Young (97 kg) all qualified for the 2026 Greco-Roman World Team.

The tournament runs four days, with Greco-Roman kicking off the action on Thursday, May 7. Women’s freestyle begins on Friday, followed by the start of men’s freestyle on Saturday. A complete schedule for each day of competition is available below.
