NCAA Releases Bracket for First-Ever National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championships

The NCAA has released the brackets for the first-ever National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championships, which will be held at Xtream Arena in Coralville, Iowa, March 6-7.

The pairings for the 10 weight classes were released on a Selection Show, posted live on NCAA.com at 1:00 p.m. Eastern time today. The show was moderated by Jeremiah Johnson, with Kyle Klingman of FloWrestling giving commentary. 

The 180 athletes who qualified through six Regional Championships have now received their draws for the competition. 

This will be the first year of the National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championships, as the sport was added as the NCAA's 91st official championship sport in January 2025. The first NCAA women’s individual wrestling champions, All-Americans and team champions will be determined in Coralville next week.
