National Wrestling Hall of Fame update following OSU homecoming tragedy

The National Wrestling Hall of Fame & Museum staff wants to thank all of you who have reached out expressing concern following the tragedy at the Oklahoma State University Homecoming parade on Saturday.

Our staff and their family are all safe.

We extend our deepest sympathies to the victims and their families.

Stillwater, Oklahoma, has been our home since 1976. We know that it is a loving and caring community that will not only survive this tragedy, but will grow even stronger.

Our full-time staff were in Des Moines, Iowa, on Saturday for a Board of Governors Meeting, the NWHOF Dan Gable Museum Gala, and the Iowa Chapter of the NWHOF banquet.

The accident occurred one-third of a mile east of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame & Museum building.

Our Mission: To honor the sport of wrestling by preserving its history, recognizing extraordinary individual achievements, and inspiring future generations
