National Wrestling Hall of Fame to Provide Shuttle Service for NWCA All-Star Classic

WASHINGTON D.C. –  The National Wrestling Hall of Fame will provide  athletes, fans, staff and coaches of the 2012 NWCA All-Star Classic presented by the United States Marine Corps with a free shuttle service between the venue hotel, Marriott Wardman Park, and venue, Bender Arena at American University.

The shuttle will leave both the hotel and venue every 30 minutes. The service will work to enhance parking, traffic and other transportation related issues to help ensure that wrestling fans have a great experience at the All-Star Classic.

“It is essential when creating a one of a kind event to allow your fans to sit back and enjoy the entire process from beginning to end,” said American University Head Coach Teague Moore.

Event managers hope that with transportation provided for by event staff, the influx of time that was once occupied by transportation matters will be replaced with attendees and participants engaging in networking activities.

“The National Wrestling Hall of Fame shuttle will allow fans to visit and meet others with their same passion for the sport instead of trying to read a GPS and find parking, making for a more complete experience,” said Moore.

In addition to the convenience of the shuttle, the location of the venue hotel is superb. The hotel is situated on a Metro stop and is located directly across from the National Zoo, placing hotel guests in a convenient spot between American University and the best tourist destinations in Washington D.C.
