2022 and 2023 Women’s Wrestling and Freestyle World Cup to be held in Coralville, Iowa at Xtream Arena

United World Wrestling has awarded both the 2022 and 2023 Men’s and Women’s Freestyle World Cup events to Xtream Arena in Coralville, Iowa. The 2022 competition will be held December 10-11, and the 2023 competition is set for December 9-10.

Olympic Champions Burroughs and Snyder, World Champions Cox and Gilman Headline U.S. Men’s Team for Feb. 12 Bout at the Ballpark

J’den Cox, Yianni Diakomihalis, Daton Fix, Thomas Gilman, and Zahid Valencia are all winners of the Hall of Fame’s Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award.

Iowa becomes first Division I Power Five school to offer women's wrestling, beginning competition in the 2023-24 season.

There are now over 100 colleges that have added women’s wrestling programs, including over 40 at the NCAA level.
