Nick Simchuk
March 15, 1917 - September 30, 2006
Nick Simchuk and his wife, Eunice, started an athletic-reconditioning company, serving the high schools and colleges in the Inland Empire.
It wasn't long and their business expanded throughout the Northwest, including Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Alaska and Hawaii.
Along with the reconditioning, they also expanded to manufacturing Ensolite Wrestling mats. Any school in need of a mat could count on Nick helping them out to purchase a new mat with payment and cost a secondary issue.
Nick and his family always put their customers first disregarding his own circumstances.
There is no individual who is more deserving of being recognized as an Outstanding American by the Washington Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame.
