Ken Pelo

Ken Pelo touched many lives in his 37-year coaching career at Rogers High School in Spokane, Washington.

During this time, he had 13 Greater Spokane League championships, five second-place finishes, one Region IV championship, three second-place regional finishes, 58 state placers and 125 state qualifiers.

Ken was very instrumental in bringing about the two wrestlers per weight rule that has been in effect for the past 10 years.

In 1991, Ken received the Washington State Coach of the Year Award and since his retirement has continually helped promote the sport of wrestling.
