Harriette Weller

In 1975 Harriette started her wrestling involvement when her son started wrestling in high school.  It was the beginning of a fantastic journey with the sport that led to many places, great friends and 25 years of personal enjoyment.

Father Michael Devine talked to Harriette about how the post-season competitions were a main ingredient for the development of the sport of wrestling in Florida.  Harriette volunteered to work at the pairing table and 25 years later she has been involved as a state board member, Florida Sunshine State Games Director, Pinellas County Officials Association and for the Florida High School Activities Association.

Through the years she was fortunate to work many Regional and National Championships and qualifying events across the United States.  During the wrestling season she works with many local high school officials as the Booking Commissioner, and has worked Districts, Reginals and the Florida State High School Championships.
