Cade DeVos was a two-time Iowa state high school champion with a career record of 162-7 for Southeast Polk High School in Altoona, Iowa.

He won the 3A state title at 145 pounds as a junior and then went 37-0 as a senior to earn the 160-pound championship in 2019.

DeVos won the 160-pound title in Greco-Roman and reached the finals in freestyle at the 2019 Fargo Nationals after placing seventh in both freestyle and Greco-Roman in 2018.
