Jace Koelzer was a two-time Kansas state champion for Olathe South High School in Olathe, Kansas.

He placed fourth at the 2019 United World Wrestling Junior Greco-Roman World Team Trials and was also a Cadet and Junior National Champion.

Koelzer was a six-time Cadet and Junior All-American and a three-time Cadet and Junior finalist and a National High School Coaches Association Junior National champion.
