Ryak Finch
Ryak Finch was a three-time Arizona state wrestling champion and four-time state finalist for Safford High School.
He had career record of 208-2, including undefeated seasons as sophomore (40-0), junior (56-0) and senior (54-0). Member of six-time defending state champion team at Safford.
Finch was a Junior Nationals champion in both freestyle and Greco-Roman in 2009 and a two-time National High School Coaches Association national champion. He represented the United States at the 2010 Junior World Championships and was runner-up in both freestyle and Greco-Roman at the 2008 Junior Nationals.
After finishing fourth at the Big 12 tournament and qualifying for the NCAA tournament as a redshirt freshman, he finished second at the Big 12 tournament in 2013. Transferred to Grand View University and was two-time national champion and first-ever undefeated Grand View wrestler with perfect 56-0 record.
Finch coached in California, Iowa and Louisiana.
