Once Pat finished a stellar wrestling career in Indiana he set his sights on a career in education and chose Arizona as the place to do it. The beginning shows Pat as a middle school wrestling in Sierra Vista. During the 24 years that followed, Pat coached at Baboquivari, Port Huron, Buena, and Flowing Wells high schools. He has since been busy as Kids coordinator for AZ/USA Wrestling and has both assisted and then directed the AIA State Tournament. Pat has been tournament director for the "Flowing Wells Invitational" one of Arizona's Top Interscholastic venues for a 27 year span. He has been a USA club team coach for 24 years and holds a Bronze Coaching Certification. Pat has other accolades as well. He received the Southern Arizona Teacher of the Year and the UofA/Circle K Outstanding Faculty Award. All of this because a basketball coach took him to the wrestling room in 1969 and introduced him to the wrestling coach. Thanks!!!!!!
