Charles H. Jones

If you have watched wrestling anytime in the past 37 years you will know Charlie. He officiated his first match in 1976, right out of high school, and is a leader in wrestling officials today. His resume is deep and encompasses all levels of wrestling. He is co-founder of several Arizona Wrestling Associations, head official at the State Meet 17 times where he has officiated 25 times. He has officiated NCAA meets, NAIA National Championships, PAC 10 duals for 25 years, Northern Iowa, Wyoming, Michigan, and the list goes on. He is a FILA and has been an exchange official to Russia, blew the whistle at the Reno Tournament of Champs 10 times, and has officiated over 150 tournaments in the past 30+ years. He has been the president of AWOA for 10 years. Arizona Wrestling is truly fortunate to have Charlie Jones.
