Michael Ingrao
Mike Ingrao graduated from Bishop O'Connell High School in Arlington, Virginia in 1972. Captain of the wrestling team his senior year, Ingrao had a record of 21-1 and was the Virginia Independent School champion and the St. Albans Invitational champion in 1972.
Ingrao earned a bachelor's degree in 1976 from the University of Richmond and a master's degree in industrial psychology in 1979 from George Mason University.
In 1975. Mike began his officiating career with the Virginia High School League. He has officiated at over 25 Virginia regional tournaments, three Virginia Independent state tournaments, one VHSL AA tournament, and 13 AAA tournaments. Ingrao has served as the head official at three AAA tournaments and one AA/A tournament. For the past two years, Mike has served as the VHSL state rules interpreter. Ingrao has served as secretary and president of the Northern Virginia Wrestling Officials Association while also being the assigning commissioner for eight years.
In 2007, Ingrao retired as secretary-treasurer of the Transportation Trade Department, AFL-CIO (TTD), a Washington, D.C. based labor organization representing several million workers in the private and public sectors of the aviation, mass transit, rail, trucking, highway, longshore maritime and related industries.
Mike resides in Arlington, Virginia with his 19-year-old daughter, Katie, a freshman at Virginia Tech. He also has a 28-year old son, Christopher.
