Mike McQueen

As a competitor, Mike McQueen was Texas' first two-time collegiate champion.

Over the course of 52 years as an official, McQueen officiated at 27 State Championships, serving as the Head Official for 11 of those years. He has also been the Head Official at eight National Collegiate Wrestling Association tournaments.

In addition to his officiating career, McQueen has mentored hundreds of new officials in his roles as president of the DFW Chapter and state president.

His contributions to the sport have been widely recognized, earning him induction into the Hall of Honor in 1996 and the National Collegiate Wrestling Hall of Honor in 2007.

For the past 25 years, McQueen has served as president of the Texas Wrestling Hall of Fame, where he has worked tirelessly to honor individuals who have helped grow the sport in Texas.
