Cole Sanderson was a three-time Utah state wrestling champion with a 118-8 career dual record for Wasatch High School in Heber City, Utah.

He captained Wasatch to its fourth state team title.

Sanderson served as Student Body President and had a GPA of 3.948 while twice earning National High School Coaches Association Academic All-American and first-team academic all-state.

He was a Cadet Nationals freestyle champion and placed at Junior Nationals twice.

Sanderson worked with young children as a National Honor Society tutor while also serving as a wrestling technician for youth programs.
