We are excited to recognize one of the most beloved individuals in wrestling. Carol Goss has a 26-year history with the TSSAA State Wrestling Championships as a coordinator and announcer. She helped the state tournaments run seamlessly as she did for the many high school and kid tournaments. She was the tournament director for 24 years starting in 1990. Carol started her wrestling career as a means of spending more time with her family. She began keeping stats for East Ridge High School and her husband Charlie Goss (Class of 2005) and supported legends Danny Gilbert (Class of 2008), Brad Jackson (Class of 2021), and Chris Bird. TSSAA recognized her for contributions to wrestling and now the National Wrestling Hall of Fame is inducting her for Lifetime Contributions.
