Eddie Davis has been involved with wrestling for 35 years as an official and a coach. Eddie personifies excellence in both capacities. With the whistle in his mouth Eddie regularly got the toughest assignments in his 26 years on the mat because of his firm but approachable demeanor. His quick wit was disarming to coaches at the table. As a coach he was inspirational and reassuring as he helped hundreds of young wrestlers get their start in the sport in the Signal Mountain, Red Bank, Soddy Daisy, and Sequatchie areas. Eddie is one of those individuals who can cultivate excellence in others and be the example of it. He doesn’t mind the spotlight, but he never sought it out. What a great addition to the 2026 Wrestling Hall of Fame class!
