Jeff Moffat
A 1988 Idaho state champion for Coeur d’Alene High School, Jeff Moffat dedicated his professional career to developing student-athletes. After beginning his coaching career at Lake City High School, he returned to Coeur d’Alene High School in 2001 and became one of Idaho’s most successful and respected coaches.
Under Moffat’s leadership, Coeur d’Alene compiled a remarkable 320-89 dual meet record, captured state championships in 2010 and 2011, and earned ten top-four state finishes. His wrestlers produced 28 state champions, 138 state medalists, and numerous national-level performers.
Moffat also served ten years as President of the North Idaho Wrestling League and has been recognized twice as Idaho Coach of the Year. His influence extends far beyond competition, as generations of athletes credit him for helping shape their character, leadership, and work ethic.
