Doug Oertley
November 12, 1964 - Present
· Native of Peoria, Illinois
· 1983 graduate of Limestone High School (Bartonville, IL)
· 32 years as on the Georgia High School Association’s GHSA) top mat officials
· Officiated nearly 40 GHSA state individual and/or dual meet tournaments
· Selected numerous times as the head official for GHSA Sectional and Dual Meet State Championships
· Called numerous prestigious open, pre/post season tournaments including Super 32 (10X) and NHSCA (9X)
· Served seven seasons as a collegiate level official with the Southern Officials Association
· Recognized as Greater Atlanta Officials Association Official-of-the Year
· Gwinnett County Official-of-the-Year
· Serves as the head trainer of new/veteran officials for the Metro Wrestling Officials Association
· Served three years as head coach of the Dacula Youth Wrestling program
· Founding member of the newly formed FCA Wrestling Officials group
· Currently employed as Materials Coordinator/Purchasing Manager for Special Projects Group, a Gwinnett county-based distributor of construction materials for high-end commercial projects, including Mercedes-Benz Stadium
· Resides in Gainesville, GA with wife, Mary Anne; adult children: Nathan, Jacob, Daniel
