Timberly Martinez

Timberly Susan Martinez was a three-time Colorado girls state wrestling champion, a four-time state finalist and team captain for Pomona Junior/Senior High School in Arvada, Colorado.

She played a pivotal role in leading the Pomona women's team to its first team championship in 2024 and a runner-up finish in 2026.

Martinez was a U15 Pan American finalist while also earning All-America honors at the U.S. Open Girls High School Showcase three times and at the USA Wrestling Fargo Nationals twice, placing third and sixth. She is a three-time Western States Triple Crown winner, a two-time Women's Nationals age-level All-American, and a multiple Colorado USA Wrestling freestyle and Greco-Roman state champion.

She was also named the Western Suburban Wrestling League Youth Referee of the Year in 2026.

Martinez is a standout multi-sport athlete, earning first-team all-conference and second-team all-state honors twice in girls flag football while also serving as team captain.

She had a 3.4 GPA and served as student body president while also being a member of the National Honor Society and volunteering through SSN. Martinez volunteers and supports youth wrestling while also assisting at elementary school field days and science fairs and fifth-grade field trips.

Martinez will continue her academic and athletic career at Western Colorado University as a member of its inaugural NCAA women's wrestling team. She plans to major in biology with the goal of attending dental school and becoming an orthodontist.
