Hank Benter
Hank Benter was a four-time Class 4 state wrestling champion with a 187-4 career record for Hickman High School.
He earned academic all-state and all-conference honors three years.
Benter competed for Missouri three times in freestyle and Greco-Roman at Junior Nationals, and earned All-American honors at National High School Coach Association Nationals.
In addition to his dominance on the mat, Benter also excelled in the classroom with a career GPA of 4.23.
Benter joined J'den Cox as a four-time Missouri state champion and Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award winner from Hickman.
Trained at Purler Wrestling Academy under coach Nick Purler, who received the Lifetime Service to Wrestling award from the Missouri Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2020.
