Madoline Ripley

Maddie Ripley was the first female in co-ed wrestling to be a three-time regional champion and two-time state champion while also being a three-time state champion in girls wrestling for Oceanside High School in Rockland, Maine.

She was named Varsity Maine Female Wrestler of the Year, Varsity Maine Athlete of the Year, and Maine Wrestling Hall of Fame Female Wrestler of the Year in 2024.

Ripley also wrestled at the Virginia Beach Nationals in 2023 and 2024, at the Iowa Wrestling Nationals in 2024, and won the Northeast Regional Freestyle Wrestling tournament in 2024.

She was named team Most Valuable Player all four years in field hockey and led the team in goals, assists and points as a senior. She finished second in the state in goals in 2023 and earned all-state honors.

Ripley was named team MVP in softball three years and received the Coaches Award in 2023.

She was an honor roll student and Oceanside Pride Award recipient while also volunteering more than 70 hours with pee and middle school wrestling, pee wee football and middle school field hockey.

Ripley is a certified nursing assistant and has done clinicals at Windward Gardens and Pen Bay Medical Center.

She will wrestle at Wyoming Seminary a prep school in Forty Fort, Pennsylvania, to prepare for a college career with hopes to one day compete in the Olympics.
