Naomi Simon

Naomi Simon has distinguished herself with an unparalleled achievement in the annals of Iowa girls high school wrestling by becoming the first female wrestler to win four state championships.

She concluded her prep career undefeated with a 130-0 record for Decorah High School.

During her sophomore year, she won the state championship at 170 pounds and had a 25-0 record with every win being a pin.

She returned in 2023 and won her third state title, the first to be sanctioned by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union, with a 37-0 record.

Simon closed out her career with a fourth state championship and a 48-0 record with 47 pins.

Naomi will continue her wrestling career at the University of Iowa.
