Matt Demaray
Matt Demaray was raised in Apple Valley, Minnesota where he won three Minnesota state high school championships while placing second as an eighth grader and third as a senior.
Coached by his father, Bill Demaray, Matt had a career win-loss record of 151-7-1.
Matt was a two-time NCAA champion and three-time All-American for the University of Wisconsin - Madison. In 1992, he received the prestigious Big Ten Medal of Honor, awarded annually to one male and one female student-athlete for academic and athletic achievement.
He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in industrial engineering from Wisconsin.
While earning his post-graduate degree, Matt was a graduate assistant for the Badgers and won four U.S. Open Senior National Freestyle championships, earning a spot on the U.S. National Team each year.
