Jeremiah Price

In February 2023, Jeremiah Price became just the 12th wrestler in North Carolina history to win four state titles. 

Wrestling for Surry Central High School, Price was a four-time conference, four-time regional, and four-time state champion with a career record of 162-3. Two of his losses were during his senior year in a fifth-place performance at the Walsh Jesuit Ironman, one of the country’s best tournaments. 

On the national scene, Price was an National High School Coaches Association Sophomore National Champion in 2021, and a 2022 Fargo All-American in freestyle.

As a senior, Price was named the Most Outstanding Wrestler at the Holy Angels tournament and at the regional and state tournaments. 

Price will head to Boone this fall to wrestle for Appalachian State University. 

He was the No. 1-ranked recruit in North Carolina’s class of 2023 and has been consistently ranked in the Top 20 nationally during his high school career.
