Randy Santora

The longtime middle school coach spent more than 30 years as a wrestling official in Spokane for the Inland Empire Wrestling Officials Association. During that time he refereed high school matches for 28 years, including more than a quarter century ifficiating the district championships, regional and state levels. All told he worked 28 regional and state tournaments, working numerous times as the head official. He refereed 13 state finals at Mat Classic in Tacoma before retiring in 2003. He was a member of the Washington Officials Association, served as Board President of the Inland Empire Wrestling Officials Association from 1989-1992 and was a long-time board member for the Association. Santora taught in the East Valley School District where he coached wrestling, track and football and coordinated the Spokane Valley Junior High Wrestling Tournament. He and his wife liz still reside in Spokane.
