Buzz Roberts

Growing up on a farm in Presho, South Dakota, Buzz Roberts first eight years of schooling were in a rural one-room schoolhouse.

After completing his bachelor's degree in education and his master's degree in secondary education from Black Hills Teachers College in Spearfish, S.D., Buzz took his first teaching job in Mountain Home, Idaho in 1956.

In 1959, Buzz took the reigns of the Mountain Home wrestling team and coached until 1972. He coached 14 place-winners and three champions at the Idaho State Wrestling Championships during his tenure.

Buzz then spent another 10 years "on the whistle" as one of the top-tier wrestling officials in Idaho.

Buzz Retired from teaching in 1991 and still lives in Mountain Home.
