Lance Christenson from West Des Moines, Iowa, helped Jim Miller build the Wartburg wrestling program into the powerhouse it is today.

Christenson was a two-time NCAA Division III All-American, finishing third in 1992 before winning the national championship in 1993. He was also an Iowa Conference champion as a senior.

A four-year starter with a 111-36 career record, Christenson was a captain of the 1993 team that finished second in the nation.

Christenson is a sales executive for DICE Holdings in West Des Moines.
