Bob Walker

Coach / Contributor Bob Walker spent the past 23 years working to make Florida wrestling better as both a coach and contributor. His coaching career started in 1979 at Seminole High School where he coached the schools first state champion. He became the head coach for the World Class Wrestling Club a position he held for ten years. Bob coached his sons Ethan and David to multiple All-American honors in both AAU & USAW events. In 1992, he wore another hat when he was named an area director for the Florida Amateur Board and became state chairperson. in 1994. Bob was named USA Wrestling Southeast State Chairperson of the Year, and two years later was named the National State Chairperson of the Year. He is an advisor to the Florida Sports Foundation and a former member of the Florida Wrestling Committee. Bob has established the Florida Wrestling Hall of Fame to honor the state's outstanding scholastic wrestlers. The inaugural induction will take place in May of 2023.
