Ken Tashjy qualified for the NCAA Division III national tournament three times and became the first wrestler to earn All-America honors for Susquehanna University with a fourth-place finish in 1982.

A Mid-American Conference champion in 1982, he had a career record of 67-8-1 and holds the school record for consecutive dual meet victories with 34. Tashjy was ranked second in the country in preseason polls before his senior season, but was unable to compete due to injury.
