Hall of Fame, Milwaukee Tool announce partnership
The National Wrestling Hall of Fame & Museum announced that it has signed Milwaukee Tool to a multi-year sponsorship.
Milwaukee Tool will provide equipment to the museum, and will have its logo included on the front page of the Hall of Fame website while also being featured on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google+. Milwaukee Tool will receive on-site exposure at select State Chapter banquets and will work with the Hall of Fame to help generate more awareness and interest in wrestling.
"Milwaukee Tool believes utilizing great tools is vital to constructing things that last,” said Lee Roy Smith, Executive Director of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. “The mission of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame is to recognize inspiring champions who develop and use the tools they need to build legacies that distinguish them from the competition. We feel that this is the perfect partnership and we look forward to working with Milwaukee Tool."
“We are proud to partner with the National Wrestling Hall of Fame,” said Steve Richman, Group President of Milwaukee Tool. “We look forward to working together to increase the exposure of the sport of wrestling and the tremendous accomplishments of those they recognize.”
The Hall of Fame reopened in June following a $3.8 million renovation that included a complete demolition and rebuild of the interior. The museum now features interactive exhibits and electronic kiosks, as well as the opportunity to watch NCAA Championship matches from the 1930s to present day.
Located on the corner of Hall of Fame Avenue and Duck Street, the museum is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for military veterans and seniors (65 and older), $3 for students and $15 for a family. Children 5 and under and active military with an ID are free. For more information, visit www.nwhof.org or telephone (405) 377-5243.
