Bobby Douglas on the Hot Seat at 2nd Annual Myron Roderick Roast
Another one of America’s wrestling legends is about to experience the same fate as Dan Gable suffered last year at the NCAA Championships.
This year’s 2nd annual Myron Roderick Celebrity Roast will take place Thursday evening immediately following the 2nd round of competition and it’s FREE to everyone.
The event is being co-sponsored by the National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Titan-Mercury Wrestling. Please plan to join us in the Cox Convention Center, second floor in Great Halls A&B, across the street from the Chesapeake Energy Arena for an evening of laughter.
Last year’s Roast had a standing room only crowd full of Dan’s friends and as one might expect, eight antagonists who sat at the head table.
This year will be no different when Master of Ceremonies Billy Baldwin returns with roasters Nate Carr, Zeke Jones, Dave Auble, Wade Schalles, Wayne Wells, Wayne Baughman, Wayne Boyd, Dan Gable and Royce Alger.
Bobby’s career has never been highlighted quite this way before, very funny.

“Very entertaining and funny, an enjoyable evening and boy did Dan get throttled!”
“What a nice addition to a great NCAA tournament. I met so many legends there
that my weekend was complete.”
“I wouldn’t have thought that Dan could sit through the beating he took. Obviously
he’s as great a sport as he was a wrestler.”
